Everyone knows that in brazilian jiujitsu, you need a blue belt to be an instructor. Henry Chan is the instructor at Gracie Barra in Wan Chai. He wanted to change his dojo from a karate dojo to a bjj dojo to catch the bjj wave and make more student fees, so he bought a blue belt. He got his blue belt in 1 week after paying all the expenses of a black belt to come to Hong Kong. His only previous experience is karate. This happened 3 years ago so Henry's been a blue belt for 3 years.
The videos below shows Henry Chan in a recent competition where he got tapped out in 13 seconds by a blue belt in Kowloon BJJ. This is his first competition. He doesn't enter competitions because he's afraid that people will see him and he'll be exposed. But this time the pressure from people was too much, and he wanted to prove that he's strong, so he entered a competition. The result is that he got tapped out in 13 seconds.
He was jealous that other bjj schools were more popular. His web site says that there's a black belt at his dojo but the black belt isn't there. The black belt doesn't even live in Hong Kong. He just wants to get more student fees by tricking students into joining. He also wants to make people think that he trains with a black belt.

All of his marketing videos on Youtube have comments disabled because he doesn’t want the Hong Kong BJJ community to expose him.
